“I was searching for Spanish lessons for my daughter and then realized what a benefit it would be for our [VIA] students. So, I contacted Mr. Gonzalez to collaborate on ways to connect his DTSOI Spanish class with our VIA students. We discussed his students creating read aloud in both languages and partnering with us to do collaborative lessons with both of our students. The Spanish class was able to come down today and pick out stories that they want to work on videoing.”
